Booking

It is absolutely possible to inspect the vehicle once your booking has been confirmed. If you wish to do so in advance, or make your choice among the available vehicles, please contact us directly to arrange a visit and confirm the presence of the vehicle at our premises.
Most of our cars are Automatic except for our Porsche GT4 which is manual.
From our website, select the type of experience you want (self-drive, chauffeur or commercial), the pick-up day, and the return day. Then choose from the available vehicles.

We understand that plans change. If you need to cancel your booking you can do so up to 7 days before pickup. We will also do our best to accommodate date changes subhect to availability.
Yes, you can request an extension of your rental period. Extensions are subject to availability and must be approved by MotorShare. Additional charges will apply.

Pricing & What's Included

The price is based on a fixed daily rate, which varies for each vehicle category. In addition to this base price, any selected options (additional driver, reduce excess plan, etc.) and applicable promotions (weekday rental discounts, promo codes, sliding scale rates based on the number of days) will influence the final cost.

Yes, the vehicle must be returned with a full tank of fuel. Failure to do so will incur additional fuel charges.
Basic insurance is included in the rental. Optional insurance plans, such as the Premium Plan and Ultimate Plan, are available to reduce your financial responsibility in case of damage or loss. For more information, check our terms and conditions or contact us directly for a personalized quote!
Excess is the amount payable by the customer in case of damage or loss to the vehicle. It varies depending on the insurance plan selected.
All costs are outlined in the rental agreement and terms and conditions. Additional charges may apply for excess kilometers, late returns, fuel, and optional insurance plans.

Driver Requirements

You will need a full licence from New Zealand / Australia or any other country where the licence is printed in English. If your licence is in another language, you must provide n IDP - International Drivers Permit.
No, you must be at least 25 years of age to rent a vehicle from MotorShare or to drive it as an "additional driver".
Yes, additional drivers can be added to the rental agreement, provided they meet the same eligibility requirements as the primary driver. Additional fees may apply depending on the selected vehicle category. For more information, check our terms and conditions.

Pick-up, Return & Delivery

Vehicles can be collected and returned to the MotorShare office at the specified times agreed upon in your booking.
Yes, delivery services may be available. Please contact MotorShare for a personalized reservation.
After-hours collection and returns may be available upon request and subject to additional charges. Please contact us for a personalized reservation.
We take care of standard cleaning. We simply ask that the vehicle is returned in a respectful condition. If the vehicle is returned excessively dirty, a cleaning fee may apply.

Additional Equipment

Yes, you can specify adding any of these options during our checkout process.
We currently do not supply winter vehicle accessories. Please contact us for any specific requests or reservations.

Issues & Special Situations

The vehicle selected at the time of booking is the one you will have on the desired day. However, it may happen, for technical reasons and absolutely beyond our control, that the vehicle is no longer available and/or no longer in a condition to be driven for your event. In such cases, MotorShare commits to contacting you as soon as possible if the reservation is affected by any issue. We will work with you to find a solution, which may include replacing the reserved vehicle with another vehicle of the same category (Essential, Premium, or Private, as specified on the website) or offering you a vehicle of a higher category.
MotorShare will handle the initial receipt of any fines, speeding tickets, or other violations incurred during your booking. These will be forwarded to you, and it is your responsibility to pay them promptly. Administrative fees may apply for the processing of these violations. For further details, please refer to our terms and conditions.
No, unfortunately our vehicles cannot go onto a ferry.
