In early 2022, co-founders James & Chris shared a vision: to give Kiwis easy access to the cars they’ve always dreamed of driving, without the cost and commitment of ownership.
What began with a few standout vehicles quickly grew into a diverse fleet of supercars, sports cars, convertibles, muscle cars, and luxury SUVs available for daily hire, special experiences, tours, or membership access, depending on how you want to enjoy them.
We’ve since expanded our offerings to include guided driving tours, event hire, and flexible rental options to suit a range of lifestyles and driving preferences.

We founded this business because we would be it’s first customers, and we couldn’t believe something like this didn’t already exist in New Zealand. My passion for MotorShare comes from seeing the smile on their face when someone jumps in a car they have always wanted to drive. There is nothing quite like that first drive

“I’ve been incredibly fortunate to find my place with the team at Motorshare as the Fleet Manager, working hands-on with some of the world’s most iconic cars every day. From coordinating the lineup to ensuring every vehicle is in top shape for our clients, I get to live out my passion in a way I never imagined possible. Interestingly, I didn’t get into cars until a bit later—once I had my license and experienced the joy of driving for myself. Since then, it’s been full throttle. I also ride a motorbike, chasing every opportunity to have fun on the road and follow in my dad’s footsteps—some of my earliest memories are riding on the back of his bike, holding on tight and loving every second.”
