Yes, all of our cars are self drive and during the booking period you have complete access to your vehicle. Only you (or your shared membership partner) may drive the vehicle
MotorShare takes care of all maintenance aspects of the vehicles in our fleet.
Your car will be ready with a full tank for collection, we ask you to return it the same way (else additional costs may apply)
Our vehicle fleet is available at our head office, 27 Walls Road, Penrose, Auckland. We are also able to drop off your vehicle (subject to availability / additional fees apply)
Yes, we can drop off the car to you. This must be specified during the booking phase, and is limited to the Auckland region. Additional fees do apply.
MotorShare takes care of all vehicle insurance. An excess will apply for any damage to the vehicles. We offer an excess reduction for an additional fee.
All of our vehicles come with full AA Roadside assistance in the unlikely event of a breakdown
Gold & Platinum members get access to all of the vehicles in our fleet, Silver members get access to the Private Collection after 12 months. Please see our vehicles page for the current list.
We expect our members to treat vehicles with care. We will conduct a valet cleaning service in between member bookings.
You may take the vehicles anywhere in the North Island as long as you return it by the end of the booking. Please note that we do have a fair use clause for KM use and usage over this limit will incur additional fees.
Yes, for the safety of our members all vehicles are GPS tracked and monitored for safe driving.
In the event that you have had an incident we recommend that you contact emergency services straight away if needed. Once you are safe you should contact our team for further assistance. You should ensure that you collect any relevant information about the incident including details of any other involved parties, photos of the damage for all vehicles, and contact details for any witnesses / involved parties.
All of our vehicles are fitted with dash cams to protect our members in the event of an incident. These should not be tampered with.
Yes, please contact us or book an appointment to meet with the team. We will happily take you for a test drive (subject to vehicle availabilty)
Yes, all of our cars are 100% road legal, and undergo 6 monthly COF (Certificate of Fitness) inspections
No, our vehicles may not be used on the track. Any track use will result in instant membership cancellation.
Yes, we have secure parking for customers vehicles.
